Forgive and forget

1) Life is full of pains that we suffer due to others. One makes an embarrassing joke, another throws an insult, and so on. Many people intrude into other's private matters, other argue in public gatherings, others have different viewpoints and opinions and so on.

2) Some of us exaggerate matters in the mind and are willing to forgive and forget. Some of us are too proud to accept people's excuses and forgive them. Some people punish themselves by not forgiving others. Their hearts are often filled with envy that keeps their thoughts busy and constantly torment them. How fair is envy! It begins with the one who harbours it and ends up killing him.

3) Therefore, do not torment yourself. There are certain things in the world that you simply cannot punish anyone over. Have a big heart, forget the past and continue to live your life as normal.

4) How beautiful it is to forgive others and forget the painful past! Without any doubt, only great people can have this characteristic - those who rise with their noble principles above the lowliness of revenge and retribution, grudge and rage. Life is indeed very short. It is surely too short for us to soil it with grudge and malice.

5) Hate is baggage. Life is too short to be all pissed off all the time. It's not worth it.

If what you desire does not happen, then desire that which does

1) If you are obliged to do something or forced into a situation, then you might as well enjoy it! This is what Dr Muhammad Abd Ar-Rahman Al-Arifi used to say to a young man who had diebetes. The young man used to drink tea without sugar and feel sorry for himself.

He would say to the young man, "When you feel sorry and sad while drinking your tea, does the bitterness turn into sweetness?"

The young man said "No". Then he replied, "Then, so long as you are forced into a situation, enjoy it!"

2) The world is not always as we wish it to be and this happens frequently in our lifes.

Perhaps, you apply for a seat in a particular university, but your application is only accepted by a department in which you do not want to study. You try to change the predicament, but you can't. You end up having to study for 4 years in a department that wasn't your choice. What should you do? Enjoy!

Perhaps, you liked a girl! But she refuses and marries someone else. What is the solution? this situation cannot be changed, so just enjoy it!

3) Many people think the solution is permanent depression or grumbling over the situation or excessive complaining. This does not help them acquire the provision they have missed out on or gain provision that is not meant to be for them.

If what you desire does not happen, then desire that which has happened. The intelligent person is the one who readjusts himself in accordance with his situation, however it may be, seeing he is not able to change it for the better. Well for all we know, perhaps the latter is an even better situation to be in. Allah SWT knows best.

4) Yes, live your life as there is no time to grieve. Deal with what you have in front of you. Not everthing a man desires he achieves. Often the winds blow in unfavourable directions for the ships.

5) "...But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not."

Surah Al-Baqarah : 216

Be content with what Allah has apportioned for you

1) Allah may give another person a noble lineage, abundant wealth and great intellect, yet deprive him of health. You will find him lying on his bed for twenty or thirty years. His wealth and lineage are useless.

2) There are those whom Allah gives you health, strength and intellect, yet deprives them wealth, so you see them in the markets carrying loads or as unprivileged and poor people who keep switching between humble jobs and hardly earn enough to stave their hunger.

3) This is how Allah gives people some things while depriving them of others. It is He who creates what He wills and chooses.

4) It is befitting for anyone afflicted with a calamity to recall Allah's favour to hm before counting the calamities Allah is testing him with, for if He has deprived you of wealth, He has given you wealth. If He has deprived you of both, then He has given you intellect. If He has deprived of you all, at least He has given you Islam. Congratulations to you for living Islam and dying upon it. Say Alhamdulillah!!

5) Look at the brighter aspects of life before looking the dark side and you will surely be happy!! :-)

Do not kill yourself with grief

1) Yes!! do not kill yourself with grief, for it will not lighten your troubles.

2) Dr Al Arifi told a story of his friend Dr Abdullah. Dr Abdullah's eldest son went to a wedding party with the entire family in a nearby city, whilst he remained behind in Madinah due to his commitments at the university. On the way back they were involved in a terrible road accident in which the died, all eleven of them! When he heard the terrible news, he prayed over them and buried them with his own hands, all eleven of them.

3) Glory be to the One who gave him patience and made him strong. Guests would come to his house and bring coffee along with them, as he didn't have anyone to help him prepare anything for them. What is amazing is that if you were to see the man receiving condolences, you would think that he was the one giving condolences and that the one enduring the tragedy was someone else.

3) He would repeatedly say,"To Allah we belong and to Him we return. It belongs to Allah, whatever He takes or gives. Everything has an appointed time with Allah". This is the peak of intelligence, for if he did not behave in this manner, he would have died of grief.

4) That's right!! Do not kill yourself with grief and do not complain frequently. What is the benefit of complaining? It only increases suffering. You spend your precious time moaning and grieving.

5) You remain with your hands tied complaining. If you do not carry the burdens yourself, who will?

6) Live your life with what you have available, and you will always be happy! :-)

Do not criticise!!

1) No doubt, some people bother you by their frequent criticisms. Nothing seems to please them in the world. They cannot notice, in a delicious meal, except a strand of hair that mistakenly dropped therein. They cannot notice in a clean garment except a drop of ink that affected it by error. Neither can they notice in a beneficial book except an innocent printing error. Hence, none seems to be saved from their criticisms. These people scrutinise everything, be it great or small.

2) Anas - may Allah be pleased with him - said,"I served the Messenger of Allah for nine years. I never heard him comment about anything I did, 'Why did you do this?!' He never criticised me for anything at all. By Allah! He never even said uff to me!"
This is how he was, and this is how we should be. By saying that however are not suggesting that you should not advise others, or that you should remain silent over their mistakes. Rather, you should not scrutinise everything people do, especially in worldly matters. Learn to overlook such matters.

3) People dislike too much and public criticisms. However, if you really do need to criticise, then package it well and then present it with kindness to others. Present it as if it were a suggestion, reather than a criticism. Present it indirectly, or using vague expressions.

4) What can be better for you than to say to your wife, who does not keep the house tidy,"Yesterday, we stayed with a friend of mine, and everyone praised the cleanliness of his house." What can be better than for you to say to your son, who does not pray in the mosque,"I am amazed at this person in our neghbourhood! I never seem to miss him in the mosque at all!"

5) It is right for you to ask why people dislike criticism, to which the response is,"Because it makes them feel deficient. Everyone loves perfection." It is the constant feeling in a person to be recognised and acknowledged as being important that drives him. Be like a bee that seeks out scent and ignores the filth. Do not be like a fly that seeks out the bloody wounds.

6) The truth is that a constant barrage of absolute criticism does not prove your shrewdness. On the contrary, you ability to avoid it as much as possible and endeavour to correct people in ways what do not cause them hurt or embarrassment is the indication of an astute person.

7) Place yourself in the shoes of the one who is criticised, the one who is wrong, and think from his point of view. If you were to be in his place, you would probably make a mistake even bigger than his.

8) Some problems simply have limited solutions or even do not have a solution. If a person's father happens to be very bigoted, he tries to advise him using all means, and if he does not listen, what more can he do?

A suggestion...
Put yourself in the shoes of the one criticised and think from his perspective. Only then pass a judgement on him.

magic bus

1) Before this, i was so determined to run away. Run away to a remote island. Just me and Him and nature.

2) I watched a movie yesterday entitled "Into The Wild". This movie really really creeps me out.

3) Chris McCandless grew up in suburban Annandale, Virginia. After graduating in 1990 with high grades from Emory University, McCandless ceased communicating with his family, gave away his savings of approximately $25,000 to Oxfam and began traveling, later abandoning his car.

4) In April 1992, McCandless hitchhiked to the Stampede Trail in Alaska. There, McCandless headed down the snow-covered trail to begin an odyssey with only 10 pounds of rice, a .22 caliber rifle, several boxes of rifle rounds, a camera, and a small selection of reading material — including a field guide to the region's edible plants, Tana'ina Plantlore. He declined an acquaintance's offer to buy him sturdier clothing and better supplies. After surviving more than 100 days, he died sometime in August and his body was found, in early September, by a couple and a group of moose hunters.

5) This was exactly what i have had in mind. The end of the movie had Chris wrote "happiness is only real when shared". This really got to me right in the head. The search for happiness only ends up with a conclusion that you can't get happiness if you are alone, leaving the ones that you love.

6) This movie really got to me. Thank you Allah. :-)

Seeds of Glory

1) Came across this article while browsing for articles. Quite inspirational.

Sometime back I heard a real-life story which for me offered an insightful and inspiring view of interpreting the reality of what we see as "pain or suffering" in this world of ours, and forever has changed the way I look at it.

As a father stood before an audience of parents and their children with special needs, at an event at their school he blurted out a question which shocked but maybe also resonated with all those that heard it. He asked that if all that God seeks to create is perfection then why was his child born mentally challenged? But then he went on to answer the question which he had raised, that it was because through him, God wants to create perfection in those around him.

He told his listeners about a day when he and his young son Shasta went out for a walk. On their way they crossed a baseball field and when Shasta saw a group of boys cheerfully playing he asked his father if he too could join them. His father thought that the chances were probably slim of the boys letting his son be part of their game, but went ahead and asked one of the boys, who after looking at his team members being all occupied, answered on their behalf by saying that Shasta could join his team, but that the game was in the last inning and his team was almost halfway through the batting, and so if Shasta's turn would come he too could take the bat. Shasta was delighted being able to join in!

Soon all the team was out and Shasta was the only one that remained, and his team needed just one run to win the match. Shasta's father wondered if the boys would actually let him play but Shasta was given the bat and out he went to the field. The pitcher drew in close and threw in a soft ball to Shasta who was stumbling with his bat. Shasta missed the first pitch and the pitcher drew in more closer, but Shasta missed again. Thereupon a team member of Shasta's came up to him and grabbed him so that now both of them held the bat together. They hit the last pitch together and the ball landed close to the pitcher. Shasta's team cheered him and screamed for him to run to first base and Shasta bewildered started stumbling towards first base. The pitcher looked at the ball and then threw it not to the first base, but loosely flung it away. Shasta's team mates cheered him on towards second base. The fielder near whom the ball had landed took hold of it and having understood the intention of the pitcher flung it away from second base. Shasta ran past the second base but the boys in the field did not try to strike him out but always flung the ball away from the base towards which Shasta was running. As Shasta ran past the third base all the boys cheered him to run to home base and Shasta ecstatic and fumbling made it home and all the boys from both teams gathered around him and cheered him and took him up on their shoulders and carried him around the field. That day, the father told his audience, that day all those boys achieved perfection.

In our lives we encounter hardships and many challenges, and often we ask ourselves "Why, why is God creating these circumstances?" It may be because he is presenting us with moments in time to raise us to heights of moral and spiritual glory. It is up to us what we do with those moments, do we waste them and let time fly by in inaction or do we rise to the occasion, gather our courage and create something beautiful in and around us, which is what God truly wants us to do.

There is a lot of suffering in this world, which people like you and me can alleviate, and maybe in that suffering lies the challenge for us to climb up and claim victory for our souls and for humanity. Neither you nor I alone can eliminate all the hunger, poverty, disease or crime in this world but if we all do what we can in our own lives, then together, by the grace of God, we can change the face of this earth.

I believe that God is moving mountains and oceans to seek out the perfection and glory of humanity. Will we rise to claim it? Will we feed the seeds of glory that God has sown deep in our hearts or will we cover them with stones and be sifted away by God as the real carnage?

2) May this article give us new hope encountering our problems we face in this world. And of course, may we achieve Jannah together. :-)

Everyone is searching for happiness, but....

1) It has been quite a while since I posted the last post.

2) Few are those who guided to the path that truly leads to happiness. Regarding that and other paths, here are three points to reflect upon.

3) Whoever does not make  the pleasure of Allah to be his main concern in life will end up losing in the end:

"We shall gradually seize them with punishment in ways they perceive not." 7:182

4) In order to acheive happiness, people attempt to follow many complicated and tricky paths. Little do they know that an easier path is ready for them in the religion of Islam - a path that will bring them the best of this life and the Hereafter.

"...but if they had done what they were told, it would have been better for them, and would have strengthened their [Faith]." 4:66

5) There are too many people in this world who think they are doing well, but who, in reality, are losing out on this life and the Hereafter, simply because they turn their backs to the true Religion.

"And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and justice." 6:115

6) Have a thought and may we gain something from this. :-)

palestina

1) As much as i like love seeing everybody started to hate Israel, i'm still sad though.

2) All they are good at are demonstrations, complaining, etc. Most Muslims (not all), lost the key point of being a Muslim. That includes me.

3) I always hear these words everywhere. "To help others you have to help yourselves first."

4) During the times of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, the masjid is the key building for social interaction and knowledge. The masjid is full everyday and every prayer time.

5) Let's have a walk to the current situation. Masjid has become a place just for Friday prayers, Eid prayers and probably a place you get married, for some that is.

6) I've heard this somewhere once upon a time, "the Yahudi will be afraid of the Muslims. How will they be afraid? When the number of people coming to the masjid for subuh prayer is somewhat the same as the number of the people coming to the masjid for Jumaa' prayer". I think this was said by my Ustaz back from school.

7) This is a reminder for me. As well as you guys. Hoping to experience this one day. :-)

last week

1) Ahhhhhhh..last week!!! This is last week..

2) Monday: Nothing special. Just the routine i guess. Come to work. Read current issues. Do work. Ask for work. No more work. Play facebook. Go home. More facebook.Dinner. "Quality time". Sleep.

3) Tuesday: Tuesday was a fabulous day. But morning was rather moody. Kelam kabut in the morning because have to fax some stuff as soon as possible. Then, have to rush to Bukit Beruntung to send some files to the guys there. The fun part starts. Need to go to the Kuala Kubu Baru Fire Department to arrange a training for the lorry drivers. Appointment was delayed. So we decided to go visit the Ampang Pecah Dam. Yeah. Sight seeing at last. really peaceful and cool place. Afterwards, someone told us about a waterfall nearby. We smiled. Off we go to the waterfall. Took a breeze of fresh air there before went for lunch. After finished with our appointment, I went back to Subang. Aunty Ita invited me for lunch aka dinner at Serai restaurant in the Empire Gallery Mall. After that, i went home. Hardly stayed at the office doing work. :-)

4) Wednesday: Got news that the director was confirmed H1N1 positive. Great. I'm coughing!! Went to work as usual. People in the office started to panic and go all out cleaning everything with anti bacterial dettol. I was forced to go to the clinic with 2 other guys. Doctor said i was fine and nothing to worry. Joined a meeting with the Top Exec. After the meeting, felt my body temperature rising, feeling dizzy, and a massive headache. Was forced to go home early. I resist. Do some work. Cannot handle it anymore. Decided to go home. Arrived home and straightaway off to sleep. Rest.

5) Thursday: Woke up and my body temperature was really high. No energy. Went to the hospital. Doctor did 2 tests. Dengue and H1N1. Needles!!! I hate needles. Admitted to the hospital ward. Rest and rest and rest.

6) Friday: Confirmed H1N1. Somemore rest and rest and rest. Boring. Feeling better though.

7) Saturday: Finally, released from hospital. I'm well. But still coughing. Have to stay home for a week. Boring!!!

8) Sunday: Boring!!! Nobody at home. Everyone enjoying activities outside without me. Rather sad staying at home all alone. :-(

bowling

1) Had a rather pleasant time playing bowling during the company bowling retreat last Saturday.

2) Event was held at the Sunway Pyramid Mega Lanes. Started with brunch where we ate nasi goreng, mee hoon goreng, fish balls, popiah and some sandwiches.

3) After we had brunch, the game begins. I was put in Group A, together with HOD of Operations, Abg Amran, Kak Linda and Abg Nanny.

4) We played two games. Both of whom i scored rather terribly. :-(

5) 126 for the first game and 117 for the second. Blaghhhhhhhh !!!

6) Well, i lost and we lost. But we'd had a good time playing together. Darn it. I hate losing. :-p

lamenting those who failed to rise to understand divine secrets

I became a strange person,
No one comprehends my state,
I chant and I alone listen to myself,
No one understands my language.

My language is the language of birds,
My homeland is the country of the beloved,
I am a nightingale; my beloved is my rose,
To be sure, the colour of my rose never fades.

Badminton

1) Yesterday i went to watch the Thomas Cup Badminton Quaterfinals between Malaysia and Denmark at the Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil.

2) Really had a good time. We won by just a difference in 1 point. Mohd Hafiz Hashim turns out to be the hero contributing the last vital point. I was quite relieved and so happy considering a string of bad performances against Japan two days ago.

3) That's not the only reason i was happy. Malaysian consists of various different races. We have Indians, Malays, Chinese and many more. I was so happy to see us united cheering for our team despite our differences in race, religion and political views.

4) We Malaysian are very passionate about our badminton. Thomas Cup is like the World Cup of football. When it comes to badminton, i'm happy to see us together screaming, dancing, cheering and clapping supporting our players. Probably this was one of the time I feel the sense of togetherness amongst us Malaysian. No matter who you are, what your race or religion, let's cheer for our team, the Malaysian Badminton team. :-)

5) I smiled when i saw a Chinese 'aunty' dancing around celebrating various points won by the players. Beside her was a Malay guy cheering and shouting off his throat happily. I think badminton really brings the nation together united as one. I love this sport!

6) Will watch the semi-final tomorrow cheering and dancing! Yeah!

yesterday

1) What did I do yesterday?

2) I started the day by of course by Subuh prayers. After that, begin my attempt making cup cakes for the first time. How'd it turn out? Miserable...... The cup cakes became hole cakes. Maybe because i can't predict how the cup cakes will rise up. So, the cup cakes overflow outside the cups when it risen. Start of a rather problematic day. :-)

3) So, what's next? While waiting for the cup cakes to cool down, went to pick up my cousin Sarah to buy flowers for our Mothers day lunch. Our whole big family was having Mother's Day lunch. No problems for flowers. Problem comes in the shape of guests inviting uninvited guests over. Hence, "Full House Cafe" is cancelled which was our first choice location. So we decided to go to "Meatworks" which is kind of manly and unsuitable for Mother's Day celeb. Brilliant.

4) None the less, the lunch was rather fun with mums around. Us cousins chip in money for the dinner. Mums got presents and flowers during the lunch. After a hectic day full of plans that does not go well, it was worth it to see the smile of each of our mum's face. :-)

5) Head home after, went to everybody went to my cousins house. Uncle from JB came with 2 of my little cousins. Najwa, who was sick before this saw me and came running towards me. She hugged me. Was very suprising. Najwa was sick before this and was in the hospital some time December. I went to JB to take care of her for 2 weeks. Rather 'terharu' she remembered me and came running to hug me. Heeeeee :-)

6) Well, that concludes a rather hectic yet memorable day. Till then. :-)

Mothers Day

1) Nooooooooo, I'm in trouble. What to plan for Mothers Day? No idea.

2) Sister used to plan everything for Mothers Day. But, sister's now gone to Japan. Guess its up to me now huh. Can't rely on the little sister who just likes to cry everytime. :-p

3) Hmmmmm, ok. I've got nothing. Think I'll browse some recipes. Making cup-cakes just as a friend suggested. Lacking of ideas here. Ahaaaaa. Think i'll ask the smallish sister to make a card. Thats it, cup-cakes and a self made Mothers Day Card. Even better than a bunch of flowers. Is it? :-)

4) Mum's in Cairo. So I can take my own sweet time. :-p

5) Care to chip in some ideas?

I've got no talent. Not!

1) I found this article rather interesting. The title is "The Physiology of Leadership". Got it from Forbes Leadership column. Oh ya, just downloaded Forbes and TIME application into my blackberry. Kinda cool. I'm a gleek. :-)

2) Here's the article:

I was excited as soon as I saw the title of Daniel Coyle's book, The Talent Code: Greatness Isn't Born. It's Grown. Here's How(Bantam, 256 pp., $25). In my own first book, Decide to Lead, I put forward the idea that leadership is not a trait you're born with but a skill you build, through a series of decisions you make as you respond to defining moments in your life. I based Decide to Lead on my research into the lives of some 100 great leaders in history. Coyle goes further, providing a scientific basis for the concept.
He built The Talent Code on scientific discoveries involving the neural insulator myelin, which some neurologists now consider the holy grail of the acquisition of skills. He argues that human ability, whether to play baseball or play Bach or lead a team, develops when chains of nerve fibers repeatedly carry tiny electrical impulses--when signals travel though circuits. When we practice doing something the right way, swinging a bat or playing a note or speaking to an audience, our myelin system responds by wrapping layers of insulation around the relevant neural circuits, each layer adding a bit more skill and speed and memory. The thicker the myelin gets, the better it insulates, and the faster and surer our thoughts and movements become.
According to Coyle, this observation tells us several important things about how we see and nurture talent. First, myelin is universal. Everyone can grow it, most swiftly during childhood but also throughout life. Second, it is indiscriminate. Its growth enables every kind of skill, both mental and physical. Third and most important, it provides us with a vivid new model for understanding skill. Skill, seen through the eyes of myelin theory, is nothing but cellular insulation wrapping neural circuits and growing in response to certain signals.
The idea that all our dazzlingly different skills grow by the same cellular mechanism seems strange and surprising. But the author supports his argument by describing this universal and uniform mechanism as an essential part of the evolutionary process. Just as elephants differ from amoebas but both use the same cellular mechanisms to convert food into energy, so tennis players, singers and painters don't seem to have much in common yet all get better by obeying the same rules of the talent code--in short, by growing more myelin.
Coyle looks at three basic elements of the development of talent: "ignition," which basically means motivation, "deep practice" and "master coaching." Each is valuable on its own, but their convergence is the key to developing skill. For each he offers practical real-life examples. For example, for deep practice, he writes about how Brazil emerged as a world hotbed for football even though until the 1950s it was nowhere on the world football map. He credits deep practice as developed by Brazilian youth when they indulged in a sport called "futsal"--football in a room, played with a ball half the size but twice the weight of an ordinary soccer ball. Futsal gave Brazilians deep practice and increased myelin effects to directly strengthen their skills on the football field.
Deep practice is a conscious activity, involving a cycle of distinct actions. Ignition is a hot, mysterious burst of passion, an awakening, and it is indispensible for firing up a person's motivation. Master coaching means guidance and feedback from a disciplined, committed coach. The development of great skill relies on the help of teachers who have the ability to nurture talent.

3) Found this quote ‘Every child is born a genius’ by Albert Einstein.

4) So? Don't wait talent to come. Nurture it! :-)

Caffeine-O satu boss....

1) Read an article from ForbesLife entitled "Cheatsheet: The Dark Side of Caffeine".

2) I don't drink coffee. Caffeine isn't my problem. Well, coffee isn't the only source of caffeine. How about the drink you always drink so to make you not sleepy and look cool? What's the name again? Redbull? Mother? Liftplus? Ring any bells? Well that kind of drink contains more than 400mg of caffeine. Much more than coffee which contains roughly 100mg of caffeine per cup. Haha..now you realise how unrealistic you are being, Rosalinda.

3) Caffeine is often found in beans, leaves and fruits of some plants. It acts as a natural pesticide for them, paralyzing and killing insects that try to feed on them. Having said that however, on humans it is a stimulant on the central nervous system and has psychotropic effects. In other words, heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration is increased.

4) Caffeine is rather addictive. Well, that explains why I sometimes become rather addictive to Redbull. Oh, and other people towards coffee. :-) The more you have, the higher your tolerance levels and the more you need. Take it away and you will feel: Drowsiness, inability to concentrate, irritability, depression, anxiety, flu-like symptoms, motor skills impairment and more. Aaaaaaahh..no wonder.

5) Carry on caffeine-ing? Over-caffeine-ing can result to muscle-twitching, insomnia, headaches and heart palpitations. How much is much? Even a slight overdose of 300mg can give you "caffeine-jitters" and all sorts of painful side-effects. PS: You can die from an overdose of caffeine ie: coffee. It's true. Go see the article if you don't believe me!

6) So? Take low doses or seldom drink it. Water is good. It's also cheaper. Studies show that you are more likely to scream at your wife, not hand in work in time to your boss or forget the lies to your big presentation. Well, well. We don't want that to happen aye. Oh, and do not allow someone who is carrying a baby ie pregnant get anywhere close to the 'thing'. Certainly, not good for the baby. :-D

7) From now on, I, Rosalinda Ayamor, will not drink overdose caffeine. No more Redbulls. Well, how bout once a month? NO!!! Not anymore. Moving forwards to a healthy lifestyle. Word ~ :-)

glee

1) Had a Glee marathon last weekend. At last finished watching all episodes :-)

2) Glee series taught me quite a lot about life. Songs are old school. But sounded rather amazing.

3) Love these songs sung by them:
- Lean On Me
- True Colours
- You Can't Always Get What You Want
- Endless Love
Though some are rather 'jiwang', but some are very inspirational indeed.

4) Glee touched my heart :-D

Quote #2

"The greatest pleasure I know is to do a good action by stealth, and to have it found out by accident" by Charles Lamb

1) This is a good quote showing how sincerity is done. I see a lot of people go all about donating stuffs and all and chit chatting about how they are sincere about donating them. Well, its questionable isn't it?

2) However, i'm not denying there are some good ones, donating and doing good stuffs. Some i found out by accident, and he/she really gains my full respect.

3) Way i see it, it's up to God to judge. So stop criticizing people Rosalinda! Only God have the power to judge people's sincerity. :-)

Quote #1

1) Well, I kind of promised myself to be a better person. Probably starting with 1 quote per day to think and get it pasted in my brain :-p

"It's not what happens to you; it's how you handle it that will determine whether you are happy or miserable." by Zig Ziglar

2) This was a quote that I found from a book called "Life Lifters". I'm perfectly sure everybody has had and encounter problems or difficulties in life. I myself had encounter numerous challenging life changing difficulties in the past. I was so unhappy with myself before until I came across with these words not long ago. It got me thinking why should I be miserable and unhappy.

3) Well guys, key to having a good life is how you take those difficulties and change it to a positive energy. Always bear in mind that there is always a good side to everything that happens. As they always say, "Allah have better plans for us". There's no use to cry over spilt milk. Every cloud has a silver lining.

4) So do not waste your life being unhappy. Be happy and always smile. InsyaAllah you will learn the meaning of patience and sincerity. :-)

never ending wars

1) Read a news article from the BBC this morning entitled "Hezbollah armed with improved missiles - US". Got me thinking that wars are almost impossible to be put to stop.

2) However, i will never stop pray for a more peaceful world hoping for miracles to happen. I do believe in miracles. I believe that anything can happen if Allah wants it to happen. Peace will definitely be achieved. The only question is "how?". Well, food for thought.

3) I admire Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed. He is a very out-spoken man and very frank in speaking his views of the west.

4) I disgust Israel. Not because i am a Muslim. Even if i am not a Muslim, i would still hate Israel. I hate those guys who have no heart at all to kill civilians and even small children.

"Hezbollah fought a 34-day conflict with Israel in 2006 during which more than 1,200 Lebanese people, mostly civilians, were killed. Some 160 Israeli people, most of whom were soldiers, also died." Source from BBC, Tuesday, 27 April 2010 23:36 UK

During at war, Muslims are forbidden to attack children, women, old folks, trees, buildings..yet, i do not know why some have neglected this orders from God.

5) Though i hate wars, somehow i am glad. At least we all know that not only the US have such weapons. Hope this will stop them from willy-nilly come and invade other countries as they wish.

6) In my opinion, wars can only result in an unstable world. History teaches us that wars can never be used as to solving any problems, misunderstandings and dissatisfactions. I am proud of my country. We gain independence through various discussion, deliberation and respect between leaders of every major race in the country and the British.

7) Let's put our heads to the ground, pray to God that we will have a better world in the future full of respect and compromise. Do we can for a better future. :-)
